Letters not to be sent: – Letter 2

Dear you,

I’ve been wanting to tell you this for ages now. I already have a few times but you obviously don’t realise that I mean it. You are an amazing friend to me and you mean a lot to me, too. I’m really pleased that we met – even if it wasn’t face to face and the way we met wasn’t exactly recommended by people. Over the years we’ve become really close and you don’t realise how much you’ve helped me. I wish that you didn’t live so far away because then we could just hang about and talk in person. I’m so happy for you now that you’ve finished your GCSE’s and you can finally be stress free and enjoy your summer. Hopefully, it won’t be full of idiots like Haribo or Stripes (Note to readers:- they are nicknames that we use for people) and you can just be free and do whatever you want.

Whenever you’ve been hurt, I’ve felt awful and wanted to stop the pain for you, but I don’t know what to do. Though when you tell me that I’ve made your day, it automatically makes my day a lot better, too, because I know you’re smiling. You’ve made me smile on some of my darkest days and I couldn’t thank you enough for it. The advice you give me is great – I keep telling you that it should be a job of yours! You’d make loads on it! The people around me like my family agree that you’ve helped me a lot, too. They always ask how you are and say; “If only you lived in our street. I’m sure you would both be really happy, then!” which is 100% true for me.
I really hope that you achieve whatever you want to achieve and I hope that your future will be bright. You are such an amazing person and you deserve to live your dream life. Remember that no matter where we both are in life, you will always mean something to me and I promise that I’ll never forget you.

    I don’t understand why this shouldn’t be sent…

Me neither. But I wrote it when I thought I hurt them. I haven’t sent it since…
