🌞 YEPS Summer Pool Party 2025 – What a Day! 🌞

On Thursday 31st July, YEPS took over Pontypridd Lido for the ultimate Summer Pool Party – and over 170 young people from all across RCT came along to join in the fun!

The day started in Ynysangharad Park, where all four of the YEPS vans pulled up, packed with games and activities. It was the perfect way to kick things off, with everyone hanging out, laughing and getting involved before heading into the Lido.

Once we got inside, the vibes were amazing. DJ Josh – one of our own young people, kept the energy flowing with tunes before and during the pool party, while YEPS staff served up colourful mocktails to keep everyone cool. The Lido was full of inflatables, pool games and good times!

We also had Barod there on the day, chatting with young people about substance use and how we can all play a part in keeping ourselves and our friends safe.

It was such a good day seeing so many young people from across RCT coming together, making memories and celebrating summer in style. We can’t wait for the next one! 🎉
