Hi, my name is Robyn charley I am 14 years old, I’m in year 10 in Ysgol Gyfun Cwm Rhondda. I’ve been attending YEPS since the start of year 7 and I’ve done many things since then, some of these things being hosting the YEPS celebration event 2025 and 2026. I also host the YEPS podcast called Yepscast. I attend youth clubs such as Ynyshir, Ferndale and occasionally mountain ash. I enjoy going to youth clubs because I get the chance to talk to some of the youth workers I don’t see in school, I also enjoy seeing my friends and playing games such as the Lion challenge or pool.
I also love going on the trips because it gives me new opportunities and more chances to socialise with young people. My favourite trip is winter wonderland and I’ve been 3 years in a row and I’m hoping to go this year.
I believe YEPS is a great way to get out of your comfort zone and to build confidence, anyone who is considering joining yeps should do it. YEPS has changed my life for the better and I don’t know who I would be without it.
