On Friday November 11th myself and James Anderson, both Members of UK Youth Parliament for Rhondda Cynon Taf, got the chance to go to the annual UK youth parliament sitting in Westminster. It is an experience that I will never forget and even though I did not get the chance to speak, no matter how hard I tried, I enjoyed representing RCT at this event.
The issues that were voted for the UK-wide issue to vote on were ‘vote at 16′, but I know in RCT and in wales we will be looking at pushing ‘curriculum for life’ also. This year RCT received 3,761 votes in this ballot. We also ranked 3rd best in wales. Thank you to everyone who voted.
