YEPS is excited to announce the launch of YEPSCast, a brand-new youth led podcast created by young people and for young people across Rhondda Cynon Taf.
Over the past few months, our passionate duo Robyn and Lilly have been working behind the scenes to plan, host and film this brand-new series. From choosing the themes to interviewing the guests, the podcast has been shaped entirely by the voices and ideas of the young people involved.
And now… filming is officially complete and we can’t wait to share the first episodes with you when they go live on YouTube next month!
What is YEPSCast all about?
YEPSCast gives young people a platform to have real conversations about the issues that matter most to them. Each episode features honest discussions, personal stories, and useful insights led by young presenters who bring their own perspectives to the table.
The team wanted to create something authentic, fun and genuinely helpful for other young people across RCT.
A huge part of what makes YEPSCast so exciting is the range of guests that Robyn and Lilly have interviewed throughout the series, such as; other young people who share their stories and experiences, Professionals and YEPS Youth Workers who offer advice, guidance and a further look at the support available for young people locally.
We don’t want to give too much away before the episodes launch… but you can expect YEPSCast to cover topics such as mental health and wellbeing, friendships, community safety, young people’s voices and getting involved in your community.
The first episodes of YEPSCast will be launching on the YEPS YouTube channel next month.
