Your Voice

Have you ever felt that decisions are being made which affect you, without being asked your opinion?  This should never be the case! The UNCRC states that all young people have the right to have their voices heard on issues that affect them.

If you’re aged between 11 and 25, the ‘Your Voice’ survey is YOUR opportunity to be heard in Rhondda Cynon Taff!

Your Voice is a large scale survey which aims to seek the views of over 6,000 young people on the things that matter most to YOU. Things like….

  • Home and community life
  • The internet and social media
  • Wellbeing, advice and guidance
  • Sport, leisure and cultural opportunities
  • Participation, consultation and rights

These things influence YOUR lives so why shouldn’t YOU have an opinion?

You’ll be answering the questions in a fun and interactive way and the survey is fully confidential which means that nobody will know how you’ve answered the questions!

However, many of the questions will give you the opportunity to tell us if you need information, advice or guidance around a certain issue. For these types of questions, you’ll be able to enter your contact details and the YEP service will be available to offer you the support that you need.

This is YOUR chance to have YOUR say on the most important things in YOUR life, no matter how big or small they may be! Your opinion matters and we want to hear it. Your voice will be listened to and we will use YOUR VOICE to change the way we currently deliver services in RCT.

Make a difference. Use Your Voice.
