Holiday Provision

Aqua Park Cardiff Bay
Are you able to swim 25 meters unaided? If the answer is YES then come and join us for a fun filled day at the Aqua Park in Cardiff Bay ! This is truly a wonderful experience and not to be missed. Please bring everything you need for the day including swimwear, towel and a packed lunch with enough drinks for the day. The bus will leave the school at 10.30am and return to school at approximately 2.30pm.
Airsoft Play Cardiff
Not tried Airsoft Play before ? Come on and give it a go because no matter what gender or level of physical fitness you have, everyone can enjoy it. It is a bit like Paintball. Airsoft is primarily a team sport and players quickly learn that in order to win the game they must work together. The bus leaves the school at 9.15am and returns approximately at 4pm. Please bring a packed lunch and enough drinks for a long day. It is also recommended to wear gloves and a hoodie !
Surfing Lessons at Rest Bay Porthcawl
Have you have fancied being able to Surf like a Pro ? Well here is your chance, come and join us !
We will arrive at the surf school, located at Rest Bay Watersports Centre where we will kit you out with a top quality wetsuit and boots and gloves if the time of year calls for it.
Safety briefing, which includes beach awareness, safety tips and surfing etiquette.
Warm up and dry land coaching on how to catch waves.
In the water to practice catching waves.
Dry land coaching on how to stand up.
Then lots of in the water coaching and practice on how to stand up.
THE BEST BIT. Hopefully, you are now catching waves and standing up.
Its now all down to you. HAVE FUN.
The bus leaves the school at 10.45am and returns approximately 4,45pm. Please bring swimwear and a towel and enough refreshments for a long day.

RCTCBC YEPS and Play Service would like to invite you to activity day's throughout the summer 2022 (26th July to 23nd August).

No need to book in advance. Open and free to everyone aged 5 to 25 years old (if you are under 11 years old we ask that you are accompanied by a parent/carer please).

We have a range of activities, including: Arts and Crafts, Multi-sports, Free Running, DJing and Radio, and more. Also, one of the YEPS Mobile Youth Provision Vans will be visiting each week so that you can charge your phones, connect to free Wi-Fi, play on the Xbox/PS5, relax with friends, and speak to Youth Workers who are able to provide you with Information, Advice and Guidance on a range of topics.

Find us at the above venues from 2pm to 4pm, and then fun will continue from 5pm to 8pm for the 11+ age group with our fabulous Youth Work Team
