Eisteddfod Boduan 2023

RCT youth forums were invited to spend the day at the National Eisteddfod at Boduan in August in preparation for the Eisteddfod’s arrival in RCT next summer.

YEPOS Shauna and Chelsea took a group of RCT forum members up to North Wales on a Welsh historical tour before spending the afternoon on the Maes.

Young people paid their respects at Capel Celyn, Tryweryn and took a drive through the Eryri National Park and took a stop at Castell Criccieth.

Upon arrival at the Eisteddfod the young people had the opportunity to explore the maes firstly.
Later in the afternoon, the forum young people experienced the welsh music culture, from folk music to rap which was performed in the Welsh language.
The young people explored all craft and organisation stalls where they introduced themselves as the RCT youth forum as well as spending their lunch time enjoying different Welsh foods.

The young people thoroughly enjoyed seeing and exploring all the contemporary art on display.

The young people spent the day content creating a vlog to show all in RCT what the Eisteddfod has to offer and what we have got to look forward to next year.
